Cymbopogon citratus


Lemongrass can be brewed as a herbal tea hot or iced. Aromatic with a sweet lemon like aroma and taste. Beyond tea it can also be used to make soups, hydrosols, tinctures, syrups, and more.

Details: Loose leaf lemongrass herb in its dried form. Composed of the aerial parts of the plant - leaves and stems and cut into the perfect size for tea, cooking and other herbal preparations.

Cymbopogon citratus, otherwise known as lemongrass, is one of many species in the genus Cymbopogon. Lemongrass adds a lovely citrus note to teas! One of our shop favorites is Cerise Citron!

Packaging: Packaged in food safe zip top bags. Smaller sizes are packaged in a zip top rice paper stand up pouch, larger sizes 8 and 16oz are package in food safe bpa free plastic zip top bags.

Hot Herbal Tea/Tisane

Use 1 tsp of tea with 8oz of water, approximately 205-212 °F.
Let steep for 3-5 mins. Can be infused 1-2 times.
