Slightly sweet and peppery in flavor, Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi, makes a lovely addition to many teas. A member of the Lamiaceae family, it is native to India and east Africa but can be grown as an annual herb in most climates.

Details: Loose leaf holy basil (aka tulsi) herb in it's dried form. Comprised of the aerial parts of the plant - leaves and stems and cut into the perfect size for tea, cooking and other herbal preparations.

1-2 teaspoons of tea per 8oz cup Use just boiled water and steep for 5-7 minutes
