Coriander Seed, whole

Coriandrum sativum

$2.45

Origin: Egypt

Coriander is often used in curries and pickling spices. It is the fruit of the plant whose leaves, cilantro, are commonly used for their own culinary purposes.

Note: When used medicinally, coriander may increase sensitivity to the sun. It may lower blood sugar levels as well as blood pressure. Not enough research has been done to determine whether taking coriander medicinally would be safe for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
